Summary

Stepdaughters Serene Siren and Spencer Scott are now stepsisters, as a result of Serene's marriage to Spencer Scott and his stepdaughter Lexi Lore. Lexi will be attending Chloe's school for the first time today. After tenderly wishing the teenagers a good day, Serene and Spencer give them their meals in paper bags. Next, the teenagers head off to school. When Lexi and Chloe go home later that day, their hair and school clothes are untidy. Asking what transpired, Serene and Spencer are taken aback and concerned. Serene and Spencer decide to put the needs of the teenagers first because they don't seem to want to discuss it. After obtaining a first aid kit, Spencer and Serene tenderly tend to the teenagers and bandage them. The teenagers ultimately explain what transpired: Lexi got into a confrontation with Serene and Spencer after hearing some other students make disparaging remarks about them because they are lesbians, and Chloe intervened to support Lexi. Serene and Spencer are moved by the teenagers' desire to defend them, and they are especially moved by Chloe's quick action to assist Lexi. How sweet it is that their family has grown so close! But Serene and Spencer advise that the next time other students act rudely, it's best to ignore them or have a conversation with them about it. The teenagers say they love Serene and Spencer so much and apologize for going too far, adding that they took the comments personally because they now realize they are lesbians as well.
